Precision is key, as your items will be custom made to your specifications. Incorrect measurements lead to ill-fitting, non-returnable items. Double-check your work until you are confident that you are ordering the correct size items for your project.

OVERVIEW - The tolerances shown below need to be achieved for your drawer box to fit properly per slide used.

C = Bottom clearance needed for drawer slides
D = Cabinet Depth clearance needed for drawer slides
  W= Width of Drawer Frame Opening
H = Height of Drawer Frame Opening
D = Depth of FRONT of Face Frame to inside rear of cabinet

STEP B - Subtract The below tolerances needed per the type of slides you will be using THIS WILL BE YOUR FINAL BOX MEASUREMENT
SIDE MOUNT DRAWR SLIDES
UNDER MOUNT DRAWER SLIDES
W = minus 1"
H = minus 1/2" minimum
D = minus 1" minumum
W = minus 1/2" minimum
H = minus 1"
D= minus 1" minumum
EXAMPLE
EXAMPLE
STEP A - W= 18"   H= 6"   D= 23"
Box Size would be
W 17" x H 5-1/2" x D 22"
STEP A - W= 18"   H= 6"   D= 23"
Box Size would be
W 17-1/2" x H 5" x D 22"
NOTE: Industry standard depth on drawer boxes is 22"
